A manager with long-standing professional experience gained in both public administration (civil service) and the private sector.
He holds a PhD in technical sciences, specializing in aerodrome pavements. A graduate of the Military University of Technology and a state-licensed land surveyor, he is an expert in aviation safety and aerodrome infrastructure.
He possesses extensive experience within the CAA structures, where as a long-time specialist and subsequently the Director of the Aerodromes Department, he was responsible for key processes of certification and oversight of airports in Poland. Among his most significant achievements is the successful conversion of Polish airports' national certificates to ensure compliance with EASA requirements. He is also the author of manuals and guidelines that shape national aviation safety standards.
He has participated in numerous national and international courses and training programs in the field of civil aviation. His completions include, among others: the Runway, Taxiway, Apron Planning and Design Course; Airport Operations in Conjunction with Construction Work; the Safety Management Systems (SMS) Best Practices Course; the EASA IR for Aerodromes Training Course by JAA; Aerodrome Certification by Airports Council International; and the Safe-Runway Operations Training Course by the Joint Aviation Authorities.
He confirms his competencies on the international stage by conducting specialized aerodrome training for supervisory personnel. In his work, he combines a substantive engineering approach with proficient knowledge of EASA and ICAO regulations, as well as modern design tools. He is a passionate enthusiast of aviation and history.
